Question: How do I check which version I am using?? 

Answer: Go to “About” on the ASC Tools ribbon.

 

Question: How often is ASC ConnectED™ for Revit updated? 

Answer: We target quarterly updates for ASC ConnectED™ for Revit®  

 

Question: Is ASC ConnectED™ for Revit® linked to ASC ConnectED™-BOM? 

Answer: Yes ASC ConnectED™-BOM can be accessed from the live reporting feature 

 

Question: What versions of Revit® is ASC ConnectED™ for Revit® valid for 

Answer: ASC ConnectED™ for Revit is available for Revit® versions 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 

 

Question: Users can get a full 1-year license after filling out the form found on the install 

Answer: Licenses are tracked on a per-company basis (based on email domain)  

 

Question: Users will receive a code via email to share to their company 

Answer: If User A starts a license and User B starts a license 3 days before the end of the full year User B will only have 3 days since User A was the one who created the license 

 

Question: Does ASC -Engineered Solutions have .itm and .rfa content?

Question: What does the End-Preps button do under the ITM PIpe Tools section of the ASC Tools?  

Answer: Since fabrication (ITM) end prep information is not stored in a shared parameter, it cannot be used in a schedule. This feature helps to synchronize the end prep information from the ITM into a shared parameter for tagging and schedules.  

 

Question: Why doesn't Continuous Spool selection (Shift select first and last) highlight more elements? 

Answer: This command requires all elements to be properly connected, there is a disconnect in the run of pipe.  

 

Question: Why do my titles appear outside my title block on the spool?

Answer: 2021 Doesn’t support the auto labeling, please turn off the titles for the parts
