Question: Is there a maximum file size for  ASC ConnectED™-BOM? 

Answer: At this time, you are limited to uploading 50 line items 

 

Question: Who are the intended users of  ASC ConnectED™-BOM? 

Answer: Contractors, Distributors & Engineers 

 

Question: Can I save my flipped BOMs? 

Answer: Yes, you can save your flipped BOMs to access later 

 

Question: What if I choose the wrong item to flip to? 

Answer: You can cancel your selection and choose the correct product per your use case. 

 

Question: Can I created a submittal package from my flipped BOM? 

Answer: You can view the submittal and in the near future, you will be able to create the complete submittal package.  

 

Question: Can I access the product submittal from ASC ConnectED™-BOM? 

Answer: Yes, you can save your flipped BOMs to access later. 

 

Question: Does ASC ConnectED™-BOM always suggest a match? 

Answer: No ASC ConnectED™-BOM does not always know what product you are looking to flip to. ASC ConnectED™-BOM allows you to search and validate your material choices by reviewing the product information.  

 

Question: How often is ASC ConnectED™-BOM updated? 

Answer: Quarterly - please submit your requests frequently we are always looking for enhancement options. 

 

Question: Is ASC ConnectED™-BOM connect to ASC ConnectED™-Spec? 

Answer: Feature Coming Soon 

 

Question: Is ASC ConnectED™-BOM web-based? 

Answer: Yes, ASC ConnectED™-BOM is a web-based software created by ASC Engineered Solutions.  

 

Question: Can you flip to Non ASC Product? 

Answer: ASC ConnectED™-BOM is intended to flip non-ASC products and products with incomplete descriptions to the equivalent ASC product.  

 

Question: Which formats can I upload? 

Answer: ASC ConnectED™-BOM currently supports CSV and XLSX

 

Question: Can I import a CSV or XLSX into an existing BOM?

Answer: You can only import to a new BOM at this time.
