The following documentation will demonstrate how to upload your project specification PDF and using the features within ASC ConnectED™-Spec.

Logging In

Navigate to https://connected.asc-es.com/

Enter your information and then click "Login"

Open

Click "ASC ConnectED™ - Spec" to open the application

Open

If you are not already logged in then you will be prompted to do so

Creating a new Spec

Click "NEW SPEC"

Important! A title is required, but all other fields are optional.

Double-click the "Title" field. *This is the only required field

Enter in additional project information then click "Next"

This step will allow you to attach your project specification document. Drag and drop your pdf file. Click "Submit"

Wait for the document to upload. Do not close or reload this webpage.

All project spec books will be listed on the left.

Using the ASC ConnectED™ Chat

Click this arrow to expand the AI chat window

The ASC ConnectED chat window allows you to search the document.

For example, search the document by typing "List all grooved styles in this document [[enter]]"

The chat will return a list of the results and descriptions based on your search criteria.

You can download the PDF at any time by clicking this icon in the top right corner.

Tips and Tricks!

Tip! Selecting text will bring up additional tools which allow you to search the document for the highlighted text, copy, highlight, underline, squiggly underline, strikeout and add links. You can later download the PDF with these markups.

Tip! Right click will bring up an additional window for editing text, panning and adding comments.

Tip! Press [ctrl] + [f] to bring up the standard text find window
**Press [ctrl] + [f] again to hide the text find window.
